Agreed. When I first tried to translate dumb money, in my head I was envisioning individual investors chasing trends, but upon reflection I see your point about ETF's. They are chained to the door, so to speak, and must maneuver in a world of limited options and virtually zero research.
We do appear to be in a lull, vis-a-vis HALO news stream, so your decision to lighten up a bit was wise. We usually go iinto a funk in summer because, IMHO, all the major players/deciders are away in their island summer homes.
Frankly, I was surprised that it took until this late in the season for the pps to swoon.
