I think that Valero probably has more room to run, but investors should stay away from the stock as a "value play".

The industry is likely to make a fortune in 2015, but crack spreads can only stay high so long. Prices of refined oil will start to catch up to the price of crude, and as that stabilizes, refiners will start to see margins shrink.

Smaller EPS margins will make the company far less attractive to potential investors, and they should be careful to stay away from short-term euphoria.
