Looks like subsidies are on there way down. Not good.... We knew this was coming....

"What happens when electric vehicle subsidies get too generous?
Changes to California's incentives show how policy can drive technology uptake."

California has traditionally led the way in this regard, and last week the state published its new rules for EV rebates. Gone is the blanket $2,500 state tax rebate. Instead, California EV rebates are going to be based on one's income, and unless they plan on buying a car with a fuel cell, the wealthiest need not apply.

U.S. sales of electrified vehicles are a bit shaky these days. A big part of the problem is that some of the government incentives that have largely driven demand are starting to evaporate. But that's hardly the only problem for EVs. Sales are glacially slow or even declining. New models are proliferating. Off-lease EVs are piling up on dealer lots as used EV prices tumble. EV technical specifications vary wildly. Recharging infrastructure is spotty and highly variable.

FCEV subsidies are now twice as much as BEV'S in California and if we make too much money, we can't even qualify for turd rebates.

Here is another one..

"EV subsidies and the bottom line"
