"Opinion" does not include calling people thieves who will steal in the future. Nor does it include taking pictures of an office with pitch-black windows (clearly at night) and claiming they are taken during office hours and thus proof that the office is abandoned. Nor does saying that the office building is abandoned. Nor is if "opinion" to refer to a company 17 times as a "shell" company when by no stretch of definition, even colloquialism, can the company be called a shell. Nor does saying that no one answers the phones, and that if one gets the message, that there is no way to leave a message (but the receptionist sounds "drunk"). That latter may be the one item that is "opinion" but a reasonable person (the standard used for juries to make their decisions) could in NO way agree that the crisp, professional message sounds "drunk." I've heard the message. That claim is defamation, pure and simple.

There are many other things like that which are not part of the science, but they are also provably untrue.

I sure hope that everyone understands that the anonymity of the internet is not enough to allow you to make defamatory comments if someone gets mad enough to sue. We've seen cases before where people went after anonymous people on the internet, and it may happen again in the VERY near future.
