Or next year...that is the beauty of the "buyback" play...you can keep the narrative going for a long time. Another ticker I have watched is still trying to pump it with "buyback" reminder announcements, mostly recently as...yesterday in an OTC disclosure. They first "announced" it over a YEAR AND A HALF AGO...and have yet to buy a single share. It has been at 0.0001/no bid for over a year now. Nobody is "buying" it's nonsense anymore...pardon the pun.
But once tomorrow comes and goes and the "week of Aug 3" is gone, and no "buyback" has started...well...I am sure we will hear plenty of alternative explanations as to what the company meant by "starting the week of Aug 3".
