No myth about short selling. Speedtrader, TradeStation and Suretrader are just a few that will allow traders to short a majority of penny stocks. And if one wont let you short a particular stock, another broker will. Finding the best deal on a margin position is no different then shopping for the best price. And contrary to what some traders believe, you are allowed to short sell penny stocks. It is not illegal. But it should be.
