Industrials are 30 stocks? How about the Russell 2000? Nasdaq, or even the SP500? Are they deep in the red and by how many days?

Sorry but the Dow rises and falls like a yo-yo of late. It hasn't been under the 200 MA for long and is right now hovering right at the mark.

There is always reasons to believe we are about to fold over. those reasons were there 7 months ago. In a sideways consolidation move, which is rare, it always looks unclear. I am only pointing to the fact that we are still near the all time highs even as the DOW breaks below the 200 MA. In a 7 month churn a sideways action will always bring the 200 day average right at the brink. Isn't the definition of a 7 month churn the same as a 200 day average going nowhere? A flat move for 7 months will flat line the 200 day moving average. it is not very meaningful until the churn breaks out or down.
