Wade, I am definitely no expert when it comes to Apple. You could be right here.
Besides being stunned by the number of people in the store yesterday there was some other stuff that made me go, "Hmmm....".
1. After we had looked around the Apple store my son expressed interest in getting an iPhone. He currently has an android.
2. After telling my daughter about our Apple Store experience, she looked at me like "duh", and told me "More and more people want Apple products."
3. She then told me that she saw a guy this weekend who had a $10,000 Apple watch on his wrist.
Personally I don't get it and never have, but obviously there are a lot of people out there who don't mind paying top dollar for their Apple products.
I have seen lots of $1 stocks with strong earnings and solid balance sheets triple, quadruple and more, but I have yet to see one go below zero.
