The info below is straight from the Nulief website and they made no misrepresentations or claims that would stop them from selling Nulief in dispensaries or at retail. Sure, the FDA wants stricter control, but even they stated they would not be trying to prosecute any company that obtained their CBD from hemp, imported from outside the US. The reason being is a legal precedent has already been set in federal court that allows hemp based supplements to sold and transported to all 50 states.
The fact of the matter is they are now using this as their scapegoat, because I think the real reason Nulief wasn't ever made available for sale anywhere is because they didn't have the funds to import enough hemp to make Nulief. They would have had to buy in a large bulk quantity and then have TRTC extract the cannabinoids that they would use to produce the product. I also believe the product they used for display at the launch were not the real thing, but rather a generic mock up of the Nulief capsule, to show what it would look like. This is why they never launched Nulief to anyone, despite their PR stating it was available at Blum's dispensary. I mean the folks at Blum were shocked when I read the PR to them. They had absolutely no knowledge of Nulief, nor did they receive any product.
