Basically it's the buying and selling pressure. If overbought, rsi will be high. If oversold, it will be low. High rsi can almost determine a retrace will ensue, so when it "cools" off, the buying usually starts again. But of course it varies from ticker to ticker and not a 100% sure sign. This is OTC. Grains of salt shall be taken.
