I have Win 8.1 Laptop.

Looking like I will go for free Win10 download (I get Windows Defender AV in the deal). <---not sure how MacAfee and other AV SW companies will like that . . . I am thinking MSFT should know more about how to defend its own SW than anyone.

Have you studied how BBRY is basically 'canning' its focus on individual cell phone sales and settling on governmental and large corporation cell phone sales? It also is positioning itself on cyber-security expansion. Looking more and more like MSFT should be soon stepping in and (at least) partnering with BBRY and get its patents in the bargain. BBRY is starting to look like another No-Key-Ya acquisition.

MSFT maybe should just hire some organizations outside itself to present some new emphasis and ideas on how to compete with Gog and Apple?

MSFT is now in fight for its life with its competitors, as I see it. They also might just as well 'adopt' Yahoo Finance format.
MSFT seems to take great pleasure in 'hiding' its own financial board and blogs acumen from its potential users. I know they try and hire the best designers . . . but thumbs down wow!
