I stated I didn't think Tabasco was a regional product and I still don't. I have seen Tabasco products in many places in the research triangle in NC.

The problem is the SMS business model - most large stores already have a Tabasco distributor - the dealers are left with convenience stores - gift shops etc and the owners don't want to pay upfront for the product - this certainly isn't regional.

The same will be true with the HJOE products. The dealers don't have the funds to compete with larger distributors that are willing to pay for shelve or counter space.
