I would argue that its more the willingness of the Drs to prescribe opiods for a broken nail and people unwilling to accept discomfort in their lives than the dea's fault. Dea is reacting after the problem already exist like most LE situations.

I have 3 bulged disc, a torn ligament in my low back from my time in the military. I have good days and bad days. My Dr has offered me opiods to deal with the bad days and I refuse. Pain is a sign to stop what you're doing and people refuse to listen to it.

Through carefully managing and listening to my body I plan to compete in my first powerlifting competition this year. Almost at my 500 lb squat and deadlift.
