Sometimes it may not matter what you do!

There are times in all our lives when we’re seeking to do God’s will that someone will find something wrong with what we’re doing and complain. You know. One of those situations when you get in trouble if you do something, and then you get in trouble if you don’t, it won’t matter what you do, because there are those who will find fault with everything you do. Don’t feel bad, because the same thing happened to Jesus and all the great religious leaders. Standing up for what you believe in will always create fervor among some people.

NIV Matthew 11:16-19
16 "To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others:
17 "`We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.'
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, `He has a demon.'
19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, `Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners." ' But wisdom is proved right by her actions."

Let us promise ourselves to not be deterred by those who would put God’s message down. Let us seek the strength of the Holy Spirit working through us as we strive to spread His Word throughout the world around us.
