Your post is just pure wbmw fantasy at its finest/worst.

Intel has the capacity and the cost advantage to flood the market with dual core parts, even at the price of AMD's single cores. Intel should welcome an AMD response, since that would drive AMD's financials into the red, while leaving Intel relatively unharmed.

LOL, yeah right ! What you seem to be forgetting is that this is not a battle between equals and if the price is low enough customers will choose K8 no matter how cheap P4/P-D is. What you might have then is Intel donating its Netburst output to the third world for no cost wink.

Intel has enormous leverage on the wafers they choose to start, and they are certainly capable of going against their previous guidance and doubling the ramp of Conroe at any time. Amazing that you have not considered this possibility!

LOL, You are talking BS again and making up fantasy Conroe ramps again ! I would have thought you would have learnt your lesson last time I smacked you over this wink. Conroe is obviously being ramped as fast as humanly possible now and no amount of blue wet dreams by you will change that ! You think Intel want to produce Netburst for a minute longer than they have to ? This strategy is about as sane as General Custer asking the numerical superior Indians for a fight with the relieving Cavalry being far too late to save his butt and him knowing that but still doing it anyway !
