I hope I don't un-make it ...
"Capitulation" is not what we saw. What we saw is "They beat our a$$ again" as they now take profits on short positions initiated at very much higher prices (and you know they continued shorting heavily on the way down) and they now get COH available for when we (or some other co.) run up big again IF Capstone has by then not shown a predictably consistent march towards profitability.
EDIT: The risk/reward scenario changed as pps plummeted and this, as hedgies, is exactly what they should be doing.
