No, Andy Bryant said there was a mix of high and low margin product held by the OEMs (about 10 days) that need to be worked through, and that Intel would throttle back production and sell them fewer parts so that this excess can be consumed. They spoke further of their own inventory buildup, which included more older product that they might write off or sell at a discount. The goal was to be as lean as possible going into the Conroe launch.

So you are absolutely wrong that production of old parts continues, and wrong that the price cuts will continue for these. Intel publishes a price list of products they still manufacture. I suggest you read it and stop with the baseless FUD.
