From my DD, they want to hit the ground running and that's why they are going to stagger their product launches of their NPN's such that each can generate +ve revenue and support the other product launches.

I think this is a good move. They have Phythalabs which is already generating revenue, even though not substantial, it is being used for R&D of their other products when CBD from marijuana becomes legal this year.
