hillzman- I do agree with you. If CPST can ever get their act together, it won't happen overnight. Too many many hurdles to overcome not to mention the damage done to credibility for years. When one looks at the multi- years of bad performance ( even before the headwinds came into play), point to bad mgmt. What else can it be? Excuses are not Reasons.

As to the R/S, it's going to happen. The large holders will control the vote. My take on it is this: If they had the confidence in the intermediate term future they wouldn't need a R/S. If they think it'll invite institutional interest mgmt is misguided. Current institutions have been getting out; not in. What's the attraction for renewed institutional interest now.

While many have taken the whole investment on a promising product, mgmt hasn't been able to deliver anything but losses .... forever.
So now what was promising in the minds of investors becomes "show me".
Technically the damage done will take years to repair. Much base building is required..... possibly years.

Having said all that, contra-trend rallies occur. Champagne corks are popped and the celebration ( euphoria) starts. short term rallies are dashed and the stock resumes the strong downtrend. Shorts make a profit; Traders make a profit if they're nimble ; investors continue to be disappointed.

The quarterly report coming up will be interesting as it always is.
