There is no clear explanation as to why there is a net loss (as everybody anticipated small net income).

It could be due to several factors:
Company increased their SG&A (not so great) or increased their R&D (could be either good or bad)
Company might have purchased lots of panels in advance (in bulk) trying to minimize shortage risks as well as trying to increase economies of scale
Company might have paid executive bonuses
There are dozens of other reasons. I'm sure actual filing on Aug 6 (2 weeks, boys, just two weeks!) will clarify
