As previously announced, the cultivation center will grow and nurse fifty (50) strains of marijuana plants

That is stupid, I am having trouble wrapping my mind around it.
It's hard enough for large corporations to take care of 10 strains just starting out. How do they think they can take care of 5 x that. I call BS.

We are projecting high revenues to be generated from this cultivation and extraction facility. A potent marijuana concentrate coined "shatter" has up to 80 or 90 percent THC compared to the 15 to 25 percent you find in most flowers. It is one of the most popular and best-selling items which sells for $25 to $50 per gram at local Colorado shops compared to the $15 to $25 per gram for flowers.
A concentrate is a form of substance which has had the majority of its base component (in the case of a liquid: the solvent) removed.
Shatter marijuana, also called butane hash oil, has gained increasing popularity in recent years among pot consumers in the U.S. The cannabis product resembles clear, thin sheets of dried honey or tree sap and is made by an extraction process that removes any lipids or fats.

They still have to extract it and make it, and it would take more plants to make those concentrations that high, thus higher THC concentration Thus higher sell price. They make it sound like they are growing it like this. I smell BS not weed. Each strain has different growing times and conditions that have to be met are they going to grow these all in separate rooms?

The New York Times reported in January that Colorado saw 32 explosions last year that were attributed to THC extraction efforts — such as in the making of shatter, which the newspaper said may also be called earwax or honey oil. Use of these solvents creates an additional risk to people consuming the shatter that is produced, as they may contain chemicals and carcinogens that are not fully removed from the end product.
