Sure, but when your driver has been late picking you up 4 or 5 times in a row, I wouldn't instantly trust their timing

Trust isn't either gainer or regained overnight.

There are certain circumstances that are beyond ones control though, like a flat tire,battery malfunction or motor vehicle accident.

If I don't make you aware that I had a flat tire, hence the reason why I was late, you're going to assume on your own....

Which is understandable.

What do we know today that we didn't know yesterday?

We attended Techtexil North America in May. This event was a great opportunity for us to connect with several different segments of the market and put product in the hands of potential partners and customers. The feedback and interest we received at the conference continue to reinforce our belief that the market demand for sustainable high performance fibers and textiles is strong. Several new relationships were established at the show that we will be exploring over the next few months.

We’ve made significant improvements in our quality and performance testing as well. New equipment has allowed us to reduce our sample testing time by almost 75% letting us get more done, test more samples, and improve our generation to generation performance.

Intellectual property protection work within the lab has also been very active this quarter. Two additional divisional patents were filed on our behalf by Notre Dame which cover our recombinant spider silk technologies. We now have open actions in 10 different countries including key silk producer and consumer nations. We expect action from the UPSTO office in the coming quarter and could have patent award within 12 months.

We are working with potential key partners now to create materials and products for these different segments that we will use to validate our performance expectations and gauge customer interest. It is our goal to have at least one or two major sales and distribution agreements signed in the second half of the year.

EDIT: To rephrase, if the newsletter doesn't contain any new material information AND isn't presented in an attractive/accessible enough way (or even properly disseminated) for a new investor to learn enough to make a decision to invest, who is this for?
