This was in the market on Friday and maybe part of the reason gold was down. Most likely not as no one watching what China has been doing believes this is anything but tactic by the Chinese. Reasons abound from IMF inclusion in the SDR, to stabilizing their markets, to this is just one months announcement. Interesting discussion here by China watcher Stephen Leeb.
