Have the shorts fallen in HATE with ANY?

It really appears to be the case. And any wise investor knows that the biggest LOSSES come when longs fall in love with a stock or shorts fall in hate. Of course it is also true that the biggest GAINS come from that too.

So the question becomes is the LOVE or HATE rational.

The shorts hate towards Sphere (at least on a short term basis) was certainly justified when the share price was $11, the company was still just a blip on the radar of the TSX venture exchange, they had a product that had not as yet been validated, and virtually no significant business relationships.

But at $3, after a merger giving them a revenue base, a move to the NASDAQ, product validation by actual knowledgeable people in the tech industry, and partnerships with significant tech companies; should that hate attitude have changed? Rational thinkers would say yes. But that doesn't seem to be the case as the short interest has gone up by over $1M shares while the share price has almost doubled.

They have gone from rational thinking, to just trying to rationalize all of Spheres' accomplishments. Partnership announcement with Microsoft? Doesn't mean anything. Expansion of Novarad partnership? Doesn't mean anything. New Caney deal? Doesn't mean anything. Texas regional center partnership? Doesn't mean anything. Pearson TestNav accreditation? Doesn't mean anything. Does that sound like rational thinking or rationalizing?

So now all they seem to have in their doom & gloom arsenal is to talk about the fact that Sphere doesn't have a huge cash stash and that they are going to have to borrow money or sell more shares. WOW. That's quite an argument. I'd like them to name any small cap companies with disruptive technology who didn't have to raise money until they reached the point of self sustaining revenue.

Hate is a even a more powerful emotion than love. It looks like they have become consumed with it towards ANY. That doesn't seem to bode well for their financial well being. How many of them will decide to take the other side of the bet. Not too late for that.
