Do u ever feel guilt when u post things totally un related to SLTD stock and find that it hasn't been deleted?

Great I'll explain, because I do a tremendous amount of research, that my non-trechnical college brain can absorb.
Storage, whether it's BSRC or TSLA WILL BE THE LIFEBLOOOD OF SOLAR POWER.
And the LIFEBLOOD of solar power systems in general.
As said in the article 3¢/KWH panels and 10¢/KWH storage will result in lower power prices.
Once you have paid for an expensive solar power what in the world would you want to pay for a power plant to power the grid? I'm paying nearly 20¢ per KWH right now.

Here is what I see for a great solar powered home.
1st you make the home as efficient as possible. Get it below 10KWH per day, INCLUDING water heating and home heating/cooling.
Use a bit more power if it includes powering your car.

Now the search for $100/KWH batteries is under way.
What could you do with $100/KWH batteries?
Imagine not just 20KWH batteries but 500KWH of storage. ($50,000 for batteries)
Up here in the northland, in the winter, it is often where we can have 2 days of sunshine in 2 weeks.
That means living on the grid for weeks. And if in the middle of winter the grid goes down, the furnace goes out.
So with a 500KWH storage system and 10KWH usage you can live 50 days on battery power.
And if you want to dump 84KWH into your Tesla, having 500KWH in storage means you would have 400KWH left.
COMPLETE ENERGY SECURITY.
Here in the USA we spend nearly $2,000 for every man woman child.
We can match that and down the road AND BEAT IT!
TESLA is breaking the ice for us.
BSRC if their battery comes out will be REALLY REVOLUTIONARY.
It will really bring down the cost of storage, and make it LAST LONGER.
Graphene (CABN) will boost it even farther. More power on the roof, and more powerful batteries, and more efficient lightbulbs.

Also you want bigger batteries, because the less that you get into depth of discharge. The longer batteries will last. A storage battery can last a couple of years, or it can last 20+ years..... Reducing cost. Or in the case of us old fogies, they can last the rest of our lives!
