If we turn this into a college student analogy and take it to its logical conclusion. Hodge's performance resembles the kid accepted to a second rate four-year college who never even bothered to move into his dorm room that first week of school and was never seen on campus again after registration day. never took a test. Never attended a class in any way, shape or form. He just wasn't there at all. Heck, he could not even have received a grade of a "Z". The most he ever did was show up at a football game as a general admissions spectator, and I am not even sure of that.
