I have not spoken to him. I have watched many interviews and speeches he has given over the years and attended one of those speeches. I have also read two of his books.

I can only judge him on how I have heard him answer questions and give his view of things. Not having been party to your conversation with him , I can only assume that had I been a fly on the wall , I would likely have considered your points of view to be that of the more ludicrous and mealy mouthed variety and his to be more in line with my thinking.

Have you ever spoken to Hillary? Did she give you her mealy mouthed explanation why she supported the fiasco in Iraq? I know Jim Webb was solidly against it from day one. I'd say his mealy mouthism proved correct.
