Well, here is what I am going to say to respond to this post...

What got all the original attention for Calypso Wireless was its alleged ASNAP (automatic switching of network access points) technology. Seamless roaming technology from WAN (3G cellular) to LAN (WiFi) back to WAN networks is what got all the initial hype for Calypso Wireless. Their patent is for this type of technology. The new focus of Calypso Wireless tells me that ASNAP, as it was originally devised, is no longer a focus; and so Calypso Wireless has lost its original vision. They are floating around lost in a sea of technological problems of which they have no means to tackle.

I think I DO understand how ASNAP fits into Calypso's complete convergence technical solution...it no longer really does.
