Not to differ with you JG but the Nicaraguan govts environmental study has focused on the canal development that has delayed approval of the ERV
project. My opinion is mine only but we are awaiting final approval. Obviously the lender is as well. The many trips by Dr Kukkonen in Nicaragua indicate he is monitoring the project as it could receive criticism instead of the support it could bring for farmers and the predicted drought. Use of the water from Lake Nicaragua could have created additional costs for ERV under consideration. Timing is everthing so Dr Kukkonen has entertained other projects and is show casing us in Nicaragua! Stil buying!
