EVL, I believe I started that line in my post number 39653.

First, I chose the term “snug harbor”, not ”safe harbor” because the latter phrase is used not just by QTMM, but generically throughout the financial industry in the disclaimers that are attached to almost any announcement or press release.

My point was that this company is SO SMALL, and SO INSIGNIFICANT (at this time) that its share price is not tied to the greater market conditions. The public doesn’t trade it really, as it is generally unknown.

Rather, at this tiny level, specific events, or news, or any change about this individual company is what will drive share price, not fear of the return of the Drachma.

Today turned out to support this view. NASDAQ was down 1 ¾ % : QTMM was up 5%.

Unlike index funds, QTMM will rise or fall on its own merit, not because of world events, and therefore is insulated from them.
