I called the Corporate Registration system for Alberta. It takes 24 hours or less to update records. If Mr. Peterson walked into the registry office and handed over the documents and the fee, if the person taking it had the time, it would be done on the spot, but at the most 24 hours to update the record. So we have a legally binding contract with a firm in Alberta that under corporate law, has no legal status in Alberta. Sounds odd.
