That is not how I read their material

The DOPS basically acts as a delivery system. Presumably it can easily cross into a cell when flipped PS exists, and not so otherwise.

The saposin-C is a payload that once within the cell can lead to cell death.

PPHM has valid patents on Bavi and BB and similar biologics used in various ways, and part of that involves binding with PS. That does not mean they have a patent on anything that involves PS. And the PPHM technology and IP has nothing at all to do with using PS as an agent (as opposed to a target).

Not that it matters. If Bavi "works" they have sufficient IP to make a decent return on it. This other particular drug is just a possible candidate that is one of thousands. And if it makes it to the market, there is still no reason to presume overlap with Bavi market share.

In short, this means zip zap do nada.
