c-checks and d-checks are flight hour/flight cycle based maintenance checks. As long as the aircraft is not accumulating hours/cycles no further heavy maintenance check is required. However, there are certain minor check requirements for long term storage...these I'm pretty sure BLTA is taking care of as required whilst the aircraft is parked.
