It's simple. As a student of us govt, you have to know the Constitution. There are 3 Articles and they are listed in order. Article I; legislature, Art II; executive, Article III judicial. Article I, section 8, states, "Congress shall have the power to.... Print and coin money, create TAX and DEBT, establish standard weights and measurements. Aka power of the purse. All laws begin in the House of Rep as a Bill. The president enforces those laws. The president can negotiate treaty(s) appoint judges all with advise and consent of the Senate. In short, it's easier to blame one instead of 535. Check out the votes of your rep and senator. That is where the wrong is committed. Then read Madison's Federalist 10 and reflect on the amount of special interests.
