I don't know how it would be possible either, but Randy Lewis seems to be having an issue with it, so I am worried about it happening here as well. Hopefully, it is only an issue with using the CRISPR/CAS9 system.

This was an issue with some earlier (pre PiggyBAC) viral transposons that left behind mutagens that caused subsequent random genetic degradation.

That problem was solved by PiggyBAC, but PiggyBac still had issues related to false targeting.

ZFN CompoZr has neither of these problems.
It acts only once and leaves nothing behind.
Also, because it uses multiple amino acid pair triples for targeting it is extremely precise!

I am not sure about the CRISPR/CAS9 system.
It is very new and therefore any problems may yet to be discovered.
