Good Morning!
Sorry I haven't been around....the 4th is my favorite holiday, and I've been busy getting ready for a 2-day, full weekend blow-out (I've got everyone sleeping over Saturday night and the celebration continues into Sunday early evening).
The good thing is that even when I am on the top rungs of an A-frame ladder.....stringing lights way above my head.....I can still carry on a cell phone conversation with my various sources.
And thanks for the vote of confidence. I checked in here this morning because someone texted me to read a really good post written by Mit....but I'll get to his post in a minute or so.
As brief an update as I can give: Things are still moving in the right direction for Baltia, even though you would not guess it looking at the pps.
Baltia will finish being brought up to speed on the new safety procedures by early next week....safety procedures that the rest of the industry has until October to implement (this is viewed as a positive sign as the FAA is preparing Baltia to be all caught up and even ahead of industry standards when they become operational).
The FAA is ALL about safety, and as the last 6 mini's were not passed because of mechanical (safety) issues, there has been an intense review of each and every mini and what has been done to correct the issue.
During this time, HQ has reviewed, re-reviewed, and re-re-reviewed everything in preparation for the next drill, to the point where they have left no stone unturned.
Baltia is locked, cocked, and ready to rock, as are their local counterparts.
They all are just waiting for Washington to give them the green light, word of which is expected at any time now.
Confidence remains high, and yesterday I was told was actually a very good and productive day.
Everyone on all sides have been working to ensure that this next mini is a pass....and again....no stone unturned.
Personally I expect any day now to hear a rumor leaking out that will turn this pps around.

After weathering through all this rain as of late, I think we are beginning to see a rainbow with a pot of gold waiting for us.
