My feeling on this is that they want to start using their printer to get bigger contracts for producing parts. It would be interesting to find out what the JV company has equipment wise as that could mean printrite would be going onto those machines if they can get contracts to print, although this is a side story to GE and Honeywell it shows the confidence people are starting to have in sglb. I think this news is to help start their own manufacturing arm which is what they are gearing to do in the long run since moving from a services company.
