IF the late price "strength" was what I believe, daily short sales % could show higher than yesterday's low 23.12% even as buy % was weaker than yesterday's 46.92%. OTOH, yesterday's spread of 11.28% could have offered the MMs attractive covering opportunities and the late price strength may have been MMs helping to support the price to sell their shares from yesterday when VWAP was $0.4122. This seems less likely as the day, the early and the late VWAPs all were lower than yesterday's.
We'll never know what went on, for sure.
