Greece says it won't pay IMF loan by deadline

Athens has until 5 p.m. ET today to repay the $1.8 billion it owes as part of a $270 billion aid package it received from the IMF.

Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said Tuesday that his country would not make a debt payment to the International Monetary Fund by a midnight deadline, setting the stage for a tense showdown with its international creditors
