As far as I can tell the connection goes like this. Phil nugent senior, a large ERHC shareholder three years ago, was a principal in Green Energy, that once partnered with GEEC. GEEC helped IGATE(the central company in the investigation of Jefferson)pay for Jefferson's 04 trip to West Africa and STP.

Also, Phil Nugent's son Phil C. Nugent was the agent for GEEC, and Noreen Wilson was president. Since Phil and Phil and Noreen have ties to GEEC, which has ties to IGATE, which paid for Jefferson"s trip, and the self same three had or have ties to ERHC, and ERHC has big contracts in the JDZ, ERHC is suspect. ??? Seems like a stretch, given STP's whining about our rights. Nigeria and Emeka's buddies protected our rights, not STP.

If I am correct about Joe's intent, ie the connection is tenuous, I aree with him. The Fed is going hard after Jefferson, as they should. The wide net they are throwing got them a warrant for an ERHC search, but it sounds like they were and are just fishing the perimeter to see what turns up. Not much of a connection as far as I can see. With the spiderwebby conections maybe worth a look, but nothing like a smoking gun. Seems something like 4th cousins. Not really that close. The government works in misterious ways.
