We have more safeguards only on NEW plants. There are over 600 existing plants that don't have the safeguards built in and that is what this ruling refers to. It's basically "too expensive" for the corporation to retrofit their plants. The health effects from mercury are far, far greater to the country, to the oceans, and to our environment. Corporations win again. Disgusting.
