fuagf: After reading your fine post, I still have a hard time with somethings in it. I mean am I to look at slavery the way some in your post do. Am I to take the advice from people that were doing just as bad things to the American Indians . At that time and lone before the civil war they were stealing there land. Killing and in some cases raping there women. Stealing there land and then moving them to some place out in God knows where like OK. Then when years later they fine Oil on there land the white man steals there land again. IMO these same people bitch about how the south treats the black man but choose to forget how they treated the red man. I know two wrongs don't make a right but look at it my way, doing the same thing then trying to tell me I am doing wrong.
Also remember SC was not the first state to try and leave the Union. Again a long time before the civil war.
