" the thesis on fannie and freddie hasn't changed but has been validated as we all talked about in 2008. the companies are making money, lots of it. housing is up, unemployment is up. they have paid all the money plus 30--40 billion. they have about 60 billion in dta still left. g fees are up. derivative gains should be coming. the only thing is the money is in the left pocket and would take a stroke of pen to move it to the right pcoket, not much, not much ink.

the only reason i have placed my faith is DUE to the government. i trust the government more than big banks. by the people, for the people. surprise, huh? i haven't sold and won't sell. so be it if it goes to zero (as i know it won't, absolutely not, not at this time, that possibility slipped few years ago). big banks loooted us over and over, so learn your lesson.

now even if this takes 5 years, calculate the rate of return if i bought at $0.26 and tell me an investment that will give me that rate of return and i will think. give me an investment that helps people, economy, housing and those who barely make it let alone a roof over them. any company that helps economy, people and are only game in town: i want to be part of it and 100% of it as they will always be profitable and both fannie and freddie are privately owned, read the court case.

nobody4ever: in each of your message, related or not, you write how this is zero and it proves your intentions as you went overboard with it. if you didn't go overboard, may be i wouold have started to think. but thank you for revealing your true intentions. i have seen many like you, some are right, some are wrong but no one is right 100% of the time and message boards are really notorius where people change their alias to fill their mission as you are. we are adults and can make our decision. stay well and hope you won't need many heartplant surgeries in future. god bless you as i will hold my shares tight as long as it takes. people like you told me to sell when commons were at $0.26 but i bought more instead. you told me to sell pfds when it was at $0.34, but i bought more instead"
