I am buying because Drexler is now chairman of the board and the largest shareholder.

Look at what he says over at quicksilver:

Drexler contended in the letter dated April 22 that there is still value in Quiksilver, especially to a strategic buyer such as Nike Inc. or VF Corp. Drexler said he believes the company could be worth at least twice its current market capitalization, especially to a buyer who would reduce costs in selling, general and administrative expenses.
