Until I see VFIN alone on the ask, personally and repeatedly absorbing multiple hundreds of thousands in share orders without flinching, I consider it mostly bluffing. He's been periodically retreating--even as far as over .10--in the last two hours, only to show up again with his "10,000" shares.

I think you're right; he's hiding behind the other market makers' skirts.
