Unfortunately, the developed world looks upon our healthcare regulatory bodies as the know-all and see-all Gods in spite of the drugs and devices that have been pulled from the marketplace over the years. So the Gods are human after all. The line can be drawn when devices are minimally invasive and exhibit little/no side effects.
