kpf, I don't exactly understand what do you mean by "raise the bar in the low end". Do you mean they will stop selling anything under $50?

I'm pissed off by this information that AMD is still making 2000 chips. I better see them all as inventories and all production to be turnud up to 2200 and faster. This is all a very serious downbinning. Probably still echo of the last year failure. If AMD was able to manufacture 2000 and 2100 in large quantities last Fall, as expected before, they would be able to completely stop making them by now.
