Let's not squabble among ourselves. There are lots of different opinions and, yes, it gets a bit irritating when negativity is posted about our situation, but let's figure out a way to get some real info.
Fred started making sense about the reality of the payoff (NOLs and common shares), and LG seems to be exact on the justice, but the bottom line is -- how soon is this closing out and what are the common shares worth?
Is there someone we can call? The Trustee? The Court? Who? There just has to be an answer.
Yes, it would be oh so nice to receive $16.50 per share, but reality bites. The system is corrupt and we are just peons attempting to fix the spokes of a wheel that is broke. Doubt seriously we will get even close to $16.50. Personally, I would be happy with $3.00 per share, but at this point we have no concrete idea as to when and if we get paid at all. The scenario about the NOLs and the common shares seems logical, but who can really confirm this? I wish we knew a bit more about FS and his legal connection to UWBK, but we don't.
This reminds me of WAMU. Big money pulling the strings and barely leaving crumbs for persistent shareholders. Same BS here except that the common shares are the main shares. They have to be worth something in relation to the NOLs.
Someone please help figure out how we can go deeper with contacts and info. There must be a way.
