The pumps final phase will be the upcoming engineering conference/show where an independent group will confirm Torvec's testing. I say will because the focus for the past couple of years has been to buy equipment and software that will enable anyone to confirm the claims vs modified vehicles doing improvised tests. After showing engineers verifiable data, the 'production prototypes' will be given to O.E.M.s for their testing. This version is fixed displacement for industry and heavy equipment. A question was asked about applying the pump to vehicles and several Torvecians said the 'variable' displacement pump would be the follow up. THAT version would do well for stored energy assist situations like garbage trucks, buses.

I guess the new engineer solved a valve problem or seal problem. He had a good presentation explaining and showing the plan for the pump and how it compared to the standard pump. He also talked about the 2 disadvantages of using Torvec's design and how he/they were addressing those problems. That was new. He seemed very confident and very excited to be involved with a better, unique solution.

I happened to run into a guy who was connected to the field trip the pump engineers took. He talked about the hamstrung performance of new equipment vs old. No contest, easy to see why operators and owners do NOT like the new machines. Imagine a restrictor on your next car that kept the revs to half of what you have now. The beauty of the Torvec pump is it should be a simple retrofit in all the new disabled machines, because it is smaller than the pumps they have. I guess right now, older machines are worth more than a brand new machine. Good situation for Torvec and it seems like they actually have a final design to present to the industry. IF the presentation was correct and the timelines are met.

I asked a question about tattoos interfering with the bracelet and Torvec has the same problem Apple has. Because these devices use a light beam reflection from the skin there are a tiny percentage of people that have a problem. The Torvec device will at first be a watch, then a band that can be worn on a part of the body that does work, not just the right wrist for example. The readings are collected by a smart phone or relayed to the cloud. GPS included, so location and times for rounds at checkpoints for security can be monitored. The software will be licensed separately down the road and they have done a good job of contacting, using and incorporating into Torvec, biometric data and experts in the field. One of the new engineers has already developed and marketed a bioband device for horses. I was wondering how Torvec could beat all the existing iWatch devices already on the market and they might have a good shot by bringing all this experience and collected information along with a unique Torvec algorithm that does more than buzz when you are nodding off. The 'Mycadian' watch is something the air traffic control industry has been looking for, according to DK.

Good meeting. I went in expecting nothing or more of the same, but this one was different. New people and new approaches to presenting. When an audience member said, 'we have heard the next year is the year story for years, when will we actually sell something,' DK was not dismissive, actually candid about how he knows this is an issue and spent some time talking about how they intend to follow the plan they outlined last night. He admitted that he was beaten by the problems of the Iso-Torque. That he held onto it too long. There might be a place for it later, but for now they are pushing hard on the final pump and making the Mycadian watch a total package. He is excited about the watch and is ready to sell it as soon as they finalize it. A manufacturer is ready to turn the testing breadboard into a wearable watch. DK made it sound like people will be wearing them at the next meeting. EOM
