it's had a big run and the mo has come out of it a bit. people as a group tend to act in somewhat identifiable patterns. that is why they tend to buy more heavily and sell less aggressively at areas of support. "tend" being the operative word.

we broke through a support level so the group tended to sell more heavily and buy less aggressively. hence the drop, unless there is some unknown as yet fundamental reason.

fundamentals provide impetus as to what to buy.
technical aid somewhat as to when to buy.
